You can operate the mouse with the keypad without any additional apps.
It's a bit rudimentary and takes a bit of getting used to, but it may do what you are wanting
Click 'Menu' and begin typing 'accessibilty' into the search box
When you see 'Accessibilty' as a choice, click on it.
Select the 'Mouse' tab and put a check in the 'Use mouse emulation' box.
Ensure 'Numlock' is off.
The pointer can be moved using the numberpad
1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9 (directional)
and 'clicking' emulated with these
5 single click
+ double click
0 press and hold
. release
/ and - to switch between left and right button emulation when using 5,+,0 or .
