The PPA referred to in that link has screensaver packages compatible with Ubuntu 12.04 through to 18.04 but nothing more recent.
To have a good chance of working a PPA should provide packages compatible with your base software.
If you are running Linux Lite 5.x you need to look for packages that are compatible with Ubuntu 20.04 (code name focal).
With Linux Lite 6.x you need packages compatible with Ubuntu 22.04 (name jammy).
Edit - found this
Link to someone who found the same issue and hacked it - this is not a recommendation, just confirmation that the PPA package doesn't properly work for later Ubuntu.
