Response to the 3rd command is:
0b:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11a/b/g [14e4:4312] (rev 01)

So it's 14e4:4312, rather than 14e4:4311.  Should I now omit the 4th command and proceed to the 5th?
