Saw thread was marked solved and was curious... but it's not :-S

Got two ideas :
1. Try to install the Hardware Enablement pack.
2. Turning off the audio card in BIOS, booting once, then turning back on and rebooting. Pretty sure this procedure would be useless but... trying stuff in Linux Wink
