The preceding posts are about booting from a specific kernel already on the machine. Using Install/Remove Software I can selectively install the latest versions of other packages while avoiding linux-generic-4.4.0.202. And Lite Tweaks works fine, but it shows only one installed kernel, 4.4.0.194 (from a restore point). Normally I clean all the old packages with Lite Tweaks. Since 4.4.0.201 works fine, according to a previous post, how do I get that as a bootable kernel, while avoiding the faulty latest one? Or do I just wait for 4.4.0.203, make a restore point, and hope that the bugs are fixed?
