However now I noticed that it had not to do with the update indicator since I was just booting up and after 5 minutes I got the freeze again. It's something on the background causing this issue and I still didn't figure what it is. I've run several distro's on this box and didn't have this problem before. I like Linux Lite too much for just letting it go because of this, I prefer to solve the issue
