Yes, you're absolutely right, and I'm gonna that just now.
I was hoping that someone here had already installed LL via grub2win, and could give me a few pointers on how not to botch the job, because LL is my distro of choice for this, and I know that install can vary from one distro to another; some are very picky on a number of things (swap or no swap, UEFI and BIOS partition or not, etc.).
When I installed 3.8 on the Mac, for example, the installer crashed on me twice before actually going through with the install, and on every crash, I had set the partitions exactly the same way.
