what motherboard do you have? That may help us figure out how to boot the ISO. It's manual should be online somewhere.

The machine is a laptop, originally made for Windows 7. It was fitted with a brand name of Novatech A15A I have contacted Novatech's technical department, asking for information. As yet nothing back.
