Valtam, I am only a beginner with Python but if you can let know what what would need fixing and / or changing in lubuntu software center to make it workable, I can try and take a look although with my health at the moment I won't make any promises or guarantees.

Thank you for offering to help elija. Development requires a commitment to it's users, in this case LL folk. Forking LSC would require an indepth understanding of python code, if you have other python projects that you have either contributed to or developed exclusively I'd certainly be interested in seeing them
