Folder Manager is messed up in apps very annoying.

The folder manager works as normal from the desktop but is weir when you use it in apps.

In Gimp when you open and twitter.com when you look for an image to add to your message the unhelpful manager appears.

It lists all the files but does not display the folders these are hidden in the list of files so if you have loads of pictures and lots of folders it is difficult to find the photos yow want.

Tried it on desktop and laptop still weird.

Anyone, know how to fix this or install another Files Manager that might fix this?

Maybe I'm wrong but I think thunar has nothing to do with this and that in fact, both GIMP and web browser use their own dialog box for managing files.
