you need the uefi version of Linux Lite which can be downloaded here:
http://repo.linuxliteos.com/uefitests/4.2/
The normal version won't boot on a system with uefi and secure boot enabled.
Many of the larger distros have installer iso with both systems on the iso, which is why they probably work.
