I up*date* 4.0 about once a week and have done all along; I've never up*graded* it. It still works fine, except for the USB thing I mentioned. Really, if it weren't for that, I probably wouldn't bother except that I figure by now there may have been enough incremental stuff that it might be worth it.
The release announcement link you provided is the reason why I was contemplating the upgrade. I've just never done this before, that's why I asked. In the old days when I used Linux (15 years ago?), you had to just reinstall it. It was a major pain.
