Suggestions to optimize LL for VM guest use?
#1
I've been playing around with LL as a virtual machine guest for a year or so now and it occurred to me that I've never lookied into optimizing it for running in that environment (beyond installing the QEMU guest agent, with which I've had limited success).

While I'm interested in any optimization suggestions, in my case I'm using QEMU KVM (on and Unraid server) and accessing it via RDP (usually over the internet) mostly for email (Thunderbird) and web browser use (Chrome / Firefox).  Due to host hardware limitations my VM is currently only allocated 3G of memory.  :-(

If anybody has any suggestions on optimization settings for the VM or remote access, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks!
