Thanks for the suggestion DeepThought--I'll wade thru that--with all it's versions if what I have done does not work.
I just used Universal USB Installer with will add up to 4gb for persistence. I also split the 16gb in about half and added a exct4 partition labeled casper-rw. One of the sites said to delete the installed casper-rw, but when I did that--it would not boot. So I'm not sure if I will be able to use the ext4 partition. If not, I'll reformat it to fat32 for storage. My internet is soooo slow today--working on the towers I( guess.
