Can't Install Linux Lite on Acer Aspire
#13
If you no longer want Windows --- I would 2nd [member=3473]TMG1961[/member] as you could use gparted to wipe out all drives/partitions..

If you want to keep windows - I would probably restore Windows/ensure still working then attempt another install of LL (remove all created LL partitions)...

It may help posting a screenshot of your partitions to help aid..

When (re)installing LL - I would choose the " Something Else" option, here you can create the partitions. You can also choose the boot loader location.
I chose the main partition where LL resides on mine (i.e. if /sdc1 is where LL is installed put the boot loader on /sdc)
You'll also have the options to create "/" and "/home" along with swap.

With the UEFI version of LL you can leave Secureboot and UEFI enabled.. You may however need to check that Fastboot is disabled in Windows (control panel) if you are keeping Windows.

If choosing to completely remove Windows from the disk - I would as suggested use the Live environment, launch gparted and do so within, then run the installer.
