Had trouble updating yesterday on fresh install first time.
Did a clean with bleachbit (everything on except Memory and Freespace clean) and rebooted.
Worked OK afterwards. Could have been a timeout issue, I didn't look at the error log since was solved.

Oh, and I was on 4.2UEFI.
