adding Unallocated space to LL partition?
#1
I have a dual-boot Win7 and LL 3.8, all working fine.

I intend to install LL4 and I used GParted (within LL) to reduce the Windows partition. I now have 53GB Unallocated which I would like to add to my 108GB LL partition.

When I try to re-size the LL partition it won't allow any size bigger than the min/max stated.
I'm guessing it might be to do with the Unallocated being on the Win side of the linux-swap, but in fact I'm new to this operation.

If it's a head-wrecking task I might leave it as is, just install LL 4 to the 108gb.
SN.  I hope my reply has been useful - click Thank on the left.
