Hi,
I guess you could always keep an image of the harddrive somewhere (with Clonezilla or other cloning software) and put it back if needed.
Even if it's a Ubuntu OS, I don't think manufavturer has the software installation needed for the warranty to be valid, but just in case maybe check the fine lines![Wink Wink](https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/images/smilies/wink.png)
Also, check if the laptop has a Legacy boot option in the BIOS before trying to install LL.
