On a lot of TVs you have to select the video source each time you use it. They generally default to either cable or antenna when turned off and back on again. Source for your computer input will be one of HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, etc. Some TVs have AV video source, VGA source and CEC source as well. Mine has them all. It does not automatically detect which source to use when turned on, but rather connects first time to cable TV on HDMI 1, and if the cable box is off it defaults to antenna. If you have more than one port use HDMI 2 for the computer then the TV won't expect it to be on and default to antenna when your computer is off.
