If deselecting this PPA didn't work at all, delete it in the update-center. Then try again to update via update manager. If it doesn't help, type the following command in the terminal: sudo apt-get install -f (just copy the command and then paste it into the terminal). Then you can use Synaptic to be sure that updating is OK. Good luck!
