I suggest you do for testing purposes. I really don't know if that would make a difference. In the past a plugin was necessary for Facebook video calling, I'm not even sure if that's still the case.
ok, here is the thing.

i was able to video chat with one friend who was on their cell phone.
but when i tried to do a video chat with a friend who has a desktop, same as me , it had problems kept crashing, just like as if i was using facebook itself (if that made sense, ha ha )
. of course they have windows and i have linux, so i thing it is a facebook problem whe one is using linux , is my guess, i will try and get them to sigh in using skype, and do a skype video chat......BRB

ok i just did a skype video chat , it was ok, i got bumped a few times, but went fine .......
so it has to be a facebook thing , and a linux thing, but more facebooks end of things and yes i sound silly ,
