I did just that. Ran sudo apt-get update, and saw a key error with Spotify, even though I don't have that installed. I fixed that key error using what I saw here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/943539/t...s-not-avai
Then I ran sudo apt-get update again. Followed by sudo apt-get upgrade and sudo-apt-get install linux-generic. I'm ok for now. When I start sudo apt-get autoremove, I don't see the things before being removed. I haven't run autoremove yet, but will try later.
