Quote:Simple classic Linux applications I use regularly: scalpel, nmap, chntpw, dmidecode, x11vnc, xming, fim, gnome-commander
Hey [member=5916]trinidad[/member] that's quite a nice list. I wish I knew about scalpel before, I accidentaly deleted some files which I couldn't recover, it happened like a month ago or so, it's not like they were critical files or something but still. I did use a couple of tools but they weren't as user-friendly as I wished, I don't know if scalpel is but I'd had liked to try it and find out for myself. Now that you mentioned gnome-commander I remembered another couple of apps I forgot to put on that list: double commander and XFE file manager. I also agree with you on Linux Tweaks being a great app, I use it regularly and am really happy with it.
