Get IPLAYER - problems
#18
(10-30-2017, 10:32 PM)newtusmaximus link Wrote: Update
Yes - programs from today 30/10/2017 listed in V 3.06
Are the new programmes (i.e. new since yesterday), prefixed by "Added", on your computer.
I have the TV listing, but without the "Added" list before the main list, that is:
Code:
mike@LL-G750JS:~$ get_iplayer
get_iplayer 3.06-ppa31a, Copyright (C) 2008-2010 Phil Lewis

INFO: Indexing tv programmes (concurrent)
..................................
INFO: Added 218 tv programmes to cache
Matches:
1:   'Sgota Gyda Julian Lewis Jones: Cyfres 2011 - Ynysoedd Sili, S4C, p05gx7x8
2:   'Sgota Gyda Julian Lewis Jones: Cyfres 2011 - Môr Hafren, S4C, p05hk78w
3:   'Sgota Gyda Julian Lewis Jones: Cyfres 2011 - Sir Fôn, S4C, p05j5y7w
4:   04 Wal: Cyfres 7 - Pennod 7, S4C, p05gjxv0
5:   04 Wal: Cyfres 7 - Pennod 8, S4C, p05gr2p5
etc... etc...

However, under "INFO" it says it "added 218 TV programmes to cache". Not sure exactly what this means.
Does it mean these 218 programmes are just added to the main list (the start of which is shown above), even though they have not been prefixed by "Added"
as they were in previous versions of get_iplayer from 3.02-1 and earlier.

Do you get what I'm trying to say, newtusmaximus? Did you have an "Added" list for today's programmes?
If I'm not clear with what I'm trying to say, I'll post such a list to show what it looks like ...
64bit OS (32-bit on Samsung[i] netbook) installed in [i]Legacy mode on MBR-formatted SSDs (except pi which uses a micro SDHC card):
2017 - Raspberry pi 3B (4cores) ~ [email protected] - LibreElec, used for upgrading our Samsung TV (excellent for the task)
2012 - Lenovo G580 2689 (2cores; 4threads] ~ [email protected] - LL3.8/Win8.1 dual-boot (LL working smoothly)
2011 - Samsung NP-N145 Plus (1core; 2threads) ~ Intel Atom [email protected] - LL 3.8 32-bit (64-bit too 'laggy')
2008 - Asus X71Q (2cores) ~ Intel [email protected] - LL4.6/Win8.1 dual-boot, LL works fine with kernel 4.15
2007 - Dell Latitude D630 (2cores) ~ Intel [email protected] - LL4.6, works well with kernel 4.4; 4.15 doesn't work
