Hi, I'm not an expert but I believe that the normal iso for linux lite does not support UEFI
about a year ago I saw a post where gerry created a test iso which did install in UEFI mode after my third attempt and it is running very well since then. I had UEFI enabled and secure boot OFF. so it boots alongside windows 10 and a couple of other distros, antergos, manjaro, mint.
The post from gerry is here...

I downloaded the ISO from here... http://repo.linuxliteos.com/uefitests/3.2/
here are some notes I made at the time which you might find useful....
IMPORTANT NOTE: don't connect to internet during install as it failed for me when connected
IMPORTANT NOTE: leave secure boot OFF after install because although upates are OK, the upgrade will fail due to non-free software being installed.
UEFI ENABLED & secure boot OFF # 3rd install
NOTE: secure boot was ON first time but failed to install boot loader
don't want to connect to wi-fi network right now = enabled # 3rd install (1st & 2nd was connected)
download updates while installing = disabled # 3rd install (1st & 2nd was enabled)
install third party software = disabled # 3rd install (1st & 2nd was enabled)
/dev/sda12 LINUXLITE 30 GiB
boot loader installation, I changed to /dev/sda2 which is my EFI partition (default was /dev/sda which is not correct you need to specify the EFI partition number)
I'm not an expert but these are my notes which eventually resulted in a sucessful install and it runs very well this past year, no issues at all.
good luck
