I'm going to give advice as Opera is not open source so that is why it is not included in any Linux Distro's. Google Opera Linux and it should take you to the official site to download the .deb file. Get the correct one for Ubuntu 16.04 and either 32 or 64 bit that you have installed. After the download is done, right click on the file you downloaded and open with GDebi Package Installer, put in the password and it should install the package. You can also search and see if there isĀ ppa for Opera for Ubuntu 16.04. Use google and search the forums for how to add a ppa.
