Grub Menu and Bootup screen still LL3.4 after upgrade to LL3.6

Thanks Jerry for your quick response.  I tried boot up fix twice with reboot after first try then shutdown after second go.  Unfortunately nothing has changed but I can live with these errors as long as system works fine.  I have a systemback restore point July 27 so can go back and try a new upgrade if necessary.  Meanwhile I'll enjoy your upgrade.  No one else is reporting similar problem so maybe I didn't reboot after update, although I'm sure I would have if asked.
Should I mark this abandoned as not really solved?

We'll leave it open for now. Abandoned status is for threads that people have not responded to when asked, or have not been replied to by the OP for months.
