Hi Scott,

Thank you very much for responding to my post.  I did what you said and the updates did download with a message that they were complete at the end. 

I still am not able to download and install any software.  I tried to get the games pack (my wife likes to play solitaire) and Wine, but the message I keep getting after they try to install is that they cannot be installed.

Do you have any suggestions about overcoming this problem?
