I think blogging is useful for spreading the word, on sites where people follow tags, hashtags, or subject terms like "old computers," "simple computer," etc.
I'm not on Fakebook, but I promote LL on Diaspora where a lot of Linux geeks can be found, and I argue for simplicity, "ordinary users," and others to prefer to run applications instead of the operating system. Xfce fans like it, former Xubuntu users like it, even a few Mint/Xfce users have said it's faster.
I have it on a laptop I use at school and am always answering questions about "that cool-looking desktop" that turns into a big ol' conversation about OSes and FOSS. I'm no geek! In fact I'm a little scared of technology, like Artim of the Baku (sorry, Star Trek reference). That's what makes Linux Lite so cool! Even a technophobic Baku boy can use it effortlessly and fearlessly.
