Try tutorial again, but make sure you reboot (not shutdown) when done. Just as insurance reboot into Windows first, check the settings again to see if they remain as you changed them in tutorial. If yes, then reboot into LL and try mounting partition again. If it still doesn't work, describe exact procedure you used to try mounting the partition. I'm assuming you are just clicking on its entry shown in file manager under "Devices" section. Is that what you're doing, or are you trying to mount in some other way?
