It sounds very frustrating, it works 50% , like mono on a stereo, it sounds like it maybe can be caused by the hardware driver, or configuration issues with that driver ?
Have you tried this, solution for speed issues on this card ?
I have checked noodle cable lengths for you, yes it can be longer this one is same as mine and colour, but mine is 10 metres this one it is 30 metres long
