The whole free software movement is built around sharing. That's why I'm involved in it.
Swathes of society have been mis-educated to think that sharing software is bad. I'm a huge advocate for the sharing of knowledge. The other OS guy could potentially take Lite Software and make a useful, innovative change to it that benefits everyone. For me, that's exciting. There's no ego here, in fact, we ask those wanting to join us in development to leave their egos at the door and only join us if they can offer software based solutions that benefit humanity. I've found this to be an extremely rare trait, and most likely one of the reasons we find it hard to get volunteers to join us in regards to software development.
It is disappointing to see free software used to proliferate an illegal activity.
