Unable to install smplayer

I am fairly new to Lite - about 6 months.  I am not sure I performed the operations correctly.  Still same exact error message. 

I am going to need step by step instructions so I can try again.

It's ok Manuk. You have to do your part too... if you are not sure you performed the operations correctly how can I know? So, you nee to be sure

Here, try these commands one at the time and post back any errors.

sudo mkdir -p /var/lib/apt/lists/partial
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude upgrade
sudo aptitude install -f
sudo apt-get install smplayer
