Unable to install smplayer

Thanks for the quick response.

Typed in the commands one at a time into the terminal.
Still was not able to install smplayer.

Below is information from the Terminal:


After this process finished...
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

This is what I got:

Extracting templates from packages: 100%
Preconfiguring packages ...
dpkg: unrecoverable fatal error, aborting:
reading files list for package 'qml-module-qtquick-dialogs:amd64': Input/output error
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)



After this process finished...
sudo apt-get install smplayer

This is what I got:

Selecting previously unselected package smplayer.
dpkg: unrecoverable fatal error, aborting:
reading files list for package 'qml-module-qtquick-dialogs:amd64': Input/output error
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
