corrupted file in firefox

Sounds like a false positive linked to some twirky Ubuntu/Firefox update/reminder or sync function: i/e shows up in all other Ubuntu based distros and not Ubuntu itself. I doubt it's real. Minor update/reminders or sync functions can sometimes scan as trojans because they are built to act like one, actually are trojans in a sense. Maybe the new Ubuntu/Firefox has crossed the adware line. I'd ignore it and wait on an upstream resolution. It doesn't show up in my LLs but I never use a Firefox login account or Thunderbird.
