1) You could install Linux Lite in a virtual machine and then install Android Studio to test it out.
2) You could web search "Android Studio Ubuntu 14.04" or "Android Studio Ubuntu 16.04." The 2.x and 3.x Linux Lite series are based on those versions of Ubuntu. From there, you can see how others are installing it.
3) You could web search "Android Studio Xfce" to see if/how others are using Android Studio using the Xfce desktop environment, which is the desktop environment for Linux Lite.
For the record, I've already done #2 and #3 above, and in my cursory overview, I don't foresee a problem. Do your own research to be sure.
