Welcome to LL Forum.

First simple thing to check...
Click on Menu, then type Driver and select Driver from menu list

Does it find any additional driver(s)..??

A quick Google for "Ubuntu 16.04 3945ABG [Golan] unable to connect" show lots of hits with some shown solved.

Thank you very much Wirezfree and Jerry!

The solution that I've found is at this link, after I followed the Wirezfree's advice:

https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2222374

After I have followed the steps provided, even the firmware was right, I've decided to reinstall the firmware and rebooted the system. Then I've created in Network Connections a Wifi with the credentials and when I clicked the wireless it connected.

I am new to Linux Lite and I am appreciating its simplicity and straightforwardness. I haven't seen a linux community that is so prompt and with expertise like Linux Mint, until now.  Smile

Thank you again for your time and effort!
