On Topic serves as a section for 'Highly Important Announcements'. I do understand the points you are making here, but there are two important considerations at play here. The first one being the former and two, we're conscious of enlarging the size of the main Forum beyond what it already is. The Help Manual is a 'How-To' resource only. linuxliteos.com - we have a News section at the bottom of each page, this is generally reserved for 'feel good' announcements only eg. releases.
I am always looking at ways to improve the information on the website and in OS and who knows, some of your suggestions may make it into future versions.
