Actually was thinking more of this one: --disable-gpu
I'm just a tinkerer type not a programmer but I search the internet quite well.
So since I am using VirtualBox I will try in either Ubuntu or LinuxMint as I have
a good running system here in LinuxLite which I like and will recommend!
I can't remember if Google turns on hardware acceleration by default and
am quite sure they don't care if you can't open the browser in a VirtualBox running
Debian > Ubuntu > LinuxMint/LinuxLite. Probably not a priority.
I'll keep looking at it though.
Hats off to the programmers for Linux that make distros work so well with VirtualBox.
