Also, I was amazed to not see a clipboard manager in the list

This means that never again will you accidentally overwrite content in your clipboard and never again will you lose something you just copied by closing an application.

I rely quite a lot on the ability to copy many things in succession and to then use the history to quickly select the content I want at any given time.
