A pic is in this thread for troubleshhoting help.Yea I find alot of dark themes are difficult to balance. In some cases if you have Ubuntu software center installed the lettering can be white or light grey on a lightgrey or white background. This can make lettering difficult to read.
I find that with most dark themes there is always something that wont be right! Like what I said above and in some cases Firefox search box is white text on white background.
I use 'greybirdclassic' from http://xfce-look.org/content/show.php/Gr...ent=170310 it's not exactly dark theme but I change the background color of the panel to a darker color from the xpanel panel preferences under appearances tab. I gave up on dark themes for a while until I come across something that won't hide letters or make them difficult to read.
Oh if you find something let me know please as I am always on the look for a good dark theme. btw look for 'manjaro simple' as I found that is a pretty close to perfect dark theme I have come across.
Just wanted to add that I use a great deal of xfce4 widgets and most dark themes mess up the look and the function of these. In some cases they fail to show bars and in some cases the colors are set to some color I do not appreciate. Like I said a lot of them don't hold up to my standards.
I'v been bashing Windows way before Microsoft.....
