I have to confess I tried Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.3 on my ultrabook for a few weeks and it just didn't cut with me - while fast, I was disappointed with the stability (occasional blank screens, erratic behaviour) so it was back to an old friend that has been on my desktop for close to 2 years.
