The LJ 3100 is an MFP, with copy, print, fax, and scanning. It's designed with a similar paper path to the LJ 5L/6L, uses the same Canon printer engine (and toner cartridges), and has similar issues with wanting to run more than one piece of paper through at a time.

Sadly, HP departed from its usual way to interface with PCs with this model, so it's an 'orphan' printer. However, it's a true workhorse, and I'll keep it until it dies, or I die - whichever comes first...

Some how I missed this thread...
N4RPS that's an oldie alright - Windows gave up support of the HP LJ1000 with Win7 32-bit (no 64 bit available) of course with minimal caressing (driver) Linux Lite (64 bit as a matter) prints without a problem... And cause I'm that guy, I set up Google Print Cloud to be able to access from the other LL system, the Windoze 7 and all the Android devices...
Right when I was about to give in, LL saves the day... I'll run her till shes spitting out gears  ;D
