Hello!
Sometimes updates create new bugs to squash. Some updates are for a later point version than the LTS release we run.
I've run into more than one program where I updated to or installed the latest version, only to have it not work, Of course, back out it comes, and back down I go to the one that works...

Deleted fully via sysnaptic and downloaded older *.deb version V2.40 from FSLINT website, installed and this version runs OK.
