Lost files
#2
I've never used the "Disks" program myself.  Have seen many posts on forums about problems caused by using it to set-up auto-mounts.

For auto-mounting partitions, see this instead:  https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/tutor...partition/

Note: the tutorial uses a mount point under the "/mnt" directory.  When mounted there you won't see the partition listed in the file manager.  Instead you must navigate file system to the /mnt directory to find files (if you did not setup symlinks to them in your home).  If you prefer to see the partition listed in left side of file manager,  use a mount point of "/media" instead.  Eg. Instead of "/mnt/DATA", use "/media/DATA".

Quote:I had a "Startup" for Keepboard which did not work after I used (udisks --mount /dev/sd5) etc for 3 partitions. Even the LinuxLite sound was not given even though it was ticked . It might just be coincidence but when I removed my additions to Startup it came back but Keepboard did not ?

When I check for the "Keepboard"it is not found even with Hidden files searches .
I'm not familiar at all with "Keepboard", so don't know where it keeps its files.  Are you saying that it used to auto-start when start the computer and now it doesn't?  Or does it appear that the data files it had saved are gone?  Is there a menu entry for starting the program?  If so, does that work and are your files accessible again?

How did you install Keepboard and where did you get it from?  I did a quick search -- is this what you're talking about and is this where you downloaded it from?  http://sourceforge.net/projects/keepboard/
