Lite Software is already included with the LL 2.6 distro.
You can install Ubuntu Software Center via Install/Remove Software (aka Synaptic Package Manager), but I would recommend using the Lubuntu Software Center. It's faster. All apps listed are free, and it doesn't have this hanging over it's head: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2974148/s...d-die.html. Just open Install/Remove Software (Menu, System, Install/Remove Software), and search for lubuntu-software-center. Mark it for installation and click on apply.
Or a faster way to do the above would be to open a terminal and enter the following code:
