Hi,
I'm running a very small Small Atom(N2807) PC with 64bit LL and 2GB mem.
I checked your CPU Benchmark compared to mine, it should be fine
D525 & N2807
What I suggest to get a feel for what is happening is to install "gtkperf"
This is not an "absolute" test, just a "relative" test. Install it, Re-Boot and run "gtkperf" with nothing else.
This is gtkperf tests on my N2807 @ "idle"
This is gtkperf tests on my N2807 @ "loaded to @ 50~60%"
Have you checked Menu > System > System Monitor, see if anything is taking lots of CPU..??
Click on the "View" drop down, and select "All Processes"
Then click on the "CPU" column, get the highest at the top.
Check this just after a "Bootup", and when you start your programs, 1 by 1.
Maybe something "rogue" is grabbing lots of CPU time..??
