If you want to follow what I posted.?
To extract the .tar , then right click the file and select the "Extract To..." option,
then navigate to where you want to extract "To"
I just did it with that file, and it extracts O.K, there is readme file inc
I had to use Open as Administrator in order to enter my sudo password, but in the end it still doesn't work. I should mention that when I got the installation to command to work, it came back with an error saying that rt3290 was already installed in the kernel.
