Can't install driver for Ralink? USB wifi adapter
#14
After reading

Quote:General informations

The Linux kernel configuration item CONFIG_RT2800PCI_RT3290:

prompt: rt2800pci - Include support for rt3290 devices (EXPERIMENTAL)
    type: bool
    depends on: (none)
    defined in drivers/net/wireless/rt2x00/Kconfig
    found in Linux kernels: 3.6–3.19, 4.0–4.2, 4.3-rc+HEAD

Just wondering if installing a newer kernel is all that is needed and a reboot and then a sudo ifconfig -a.

New kernels are at

https://www.freecinema2022.gq/forums/insta...te-kernel/

Lots of kernel choices to choose from . Since support seems buiit in from 3.6 to 4.3.

But bgaulke is already running

Code:
Kernel: 3.13.0-24-generic i686

which just confuses the hell out of me since that page says "include support"

All I can figure is that the driver is loaded and that somehow the firmware was left out of the iso or again. A corrupted iso.
