Hi
Suggestion 1: Able to clearly distinguish which windows is open and selected. Currently due to the default colour, it's difficult to distinguish clearly which windows is on top - if you have opened two.
Proposal: Background window which is open, should fade on the top task bar, while the highlighted task bar should be darker.
Edit: for some reason my windows menu was under Mediterraneanlight by default. Please put Moheli as default instead. It will be easier for new users.

Suggestion 2: Bottom menu bar to be slightly smaller. It's seems quite large and looked large on other laptops I previously installed LL on.
Edit: Under panels you can change the size. Default size should be bit smaller. I have put 26. Not sure what the default was but maybe the default should be around 27?
Suggestion 3: I'm not sure if this my own laptops issue but I can't seem to drag any folders to the bottom or to the corner of the screen. On all M$ Windows, I was freely able to place folders anywhere on the desktop but it seems it's restricted on Linux. If i drag a folder to the bottom or across to the corner, it simply moves back into aligned position on the left side.
Edit: I created a folder which I was able to place it at the bottom and across the screen however it seems to have a restriction if I want to overlap two folders. If there a way to reduce to gap so I can overlap the folders. Also I'm not able to put the folders onĀ the side completely (close as possible to the edge).

Suggestion 4: Create a similar menu section as Windows Xp with shortcuts folders and access to programs. Please check link belowand look at the left side. Linux mint has created a similar feature and I'm sure LL team would be able to integrate. Possibly add colours if possible. It would be great for people migrating from windows to Linux especially the older school timers

Suggestion 5: Create a software repository which is easy to navigate and install. Make it into a menu rather than simple tick boxes - like Ubuntu's but more updated. Also expand the list of program i.e. Bleachbit, download manager, torrent applications etc...
One of the reasons I returned to LL was because of the updated LibreOffice - so much better than the Linux Mint's version (which is old).
Suggestion 6: Simply have 1 delete function - "move to trash". From trash you should be able to delete items permanently. When I first started using Linux it confused the hell out of me and only now I know the difference. It would be difficult for new users to understand so keep it simple and straight forward and only keep one delete function.
Suggestion 7: Please make changes to the update feature. Under software and updates>updates, I can change it automatically begin installing updates but I'm not sure if this feature works. Also is there a way I can keep packages same (instead of changing it and making system unstable) without requiring user input? I'm thinking of my folks and family who I know will automatically update anything that pops up.
Hopefully it helps. The above suggestion would greatly support new users migrating from Windows to Linux.
Thanks
